A number of big projects have been carried
out by public organizations in Japan, in order to prevent water contamination,
to conserve water resources and to protect the land and the communities
from disasters caused by storms and heavy rain. EIM Submersible Propeller Pumps are supporting the achievement to those projects. In 1997, 3 sets of 700mm dia. Propeller Pumps with Central Control System were delivered to Teganuma Pumping Station to utilize the fresh river water of Tone-River to purify the heavily contaminated Teganuma Swamp. In the same year, one complete set of a unique electrical screen system, which prevents fish straying into forced water flow of pumps, was supplied to Chiba Pref. In addition, 2 sets of 1,000 mm dia. Propeller Pumps for rainwater drainage to Okayama Pref., 2 sets of 900 mm dis. Propeller Pumps for agricultural purposes to Kumamoto Pref., and 4 sets of 700 mm dia Propeller Pumps for storm water drainage to Aichi Pref., were supplied, as well. |
